Vendor Update & Payment Deadline

Happy New Years!
We hope everyone has enjoyed the holiday season and was gifted ALL the yarn and fibre!

Happy with all the yarn gifts, but really in need of a cable needle that won’t break when you use it!

I have been busy spinning and knitting up a storm over here! Including a final knitted gift that I completed two hours before I had to gift it! Anyone else feeling that kind of pressure? (Okay I will also admit that one gift had to be a Hat IOU because apparently I just don’t knit as fast as I thought!)

As we sit on the eve of 2020, I just wanted to take a moment and update all our amazing applicants for the Hamilton Fibre Market.
Over 50 vendors are interested in joining us! We are so happy and humbled by your interest and support!

It has been brought to our attention that our applications state payment is due by January 1, 2020. PLEASE NOTE that this is an error as we haven’t sent out confirmations yet! So payment is somewhat not possible at this point. 🙂

We will be meeting within the next week or so and at that point we will be emailing out confirmations as well as a new deadline for payments.

In the meantime, we will you all the best for the new year and thank you for your patience!

….now where did we hide all the leftover cookies???

Vendor deadline

The deadline for vendor applications was yesterday.
We have had some awesome vendors apply to join our marketplace….everything from indie dyers and rug hookers to farmers and loom makers.
This is going to be fabulous and we are getting so excited!

Vendors will be confirmed early January and then a vendor list will be available!

In the meantime, we wish you all happy holidays!

Less than 3 weeks to go!

We can’t believe that our application deadline is only 3 weeks away! It just drives home the point that confirmations, planning and the day itself will be here before we know it!

If you haven’t applied yet but are considering it, please do!

We are open to all sorts of fibre vendors, especially local fibre farmers and indie dyers who have just started their dyeing journey! Small 6 ft tables are only $40 and we have kept the price low so that those of you who have never sold your items before have the opportunity to come, try it out and see what kind of interest there is in your products.

Reminder: December 1, 2019 is the deadline!

Applications are coming in!

Thank you to everyone who has applied for our market so far.

In our first week, we have received 13 applications! It’s amazing to already be seeing such support for our event!

A reminder that we have small 6 by 4 foot spaces available for small batch indie dyers and fibre artists. If you have just started dyeing your own yarn….if you are new to your fibre art….if you have never tried to sell your products and are uncertain whether you are ready to do so….WE WANT YOU! 🙂

We heartily encourage you to consider applying!

Attn Vendors

It has been a fantastic weekend! Now that both the Kitchener Knitter’s Fair and Hamilton’s Supercrawl have come to an end, we can put more focus on preparing for our March festival!
Many of you have contacted us to ask about the application process and becoming a vendor. Our goal is to have applications available starting October 1 so keep your eye on our website!

Rack Cards Ready!

As of this morning, our market advertising has been sent to the printers! We are getting rack cards printed and they will be available at both SuperCrawl in Hamilton at Lickety Spit Farm‘s Booth, as well as with Stitch Noir at the Kitchener Knitter’s Fair this weekend.

We love our little logo and are excited to share it with everyone! What do you think?

Slowly but surely….

We have had so much interest in our fibre market and we can’t even express how grateful we are!

The initial steps…the venue, the logo….effectively the nuts and bolts to get this off the ground seem to be the steps that are going to take the longest, so we appreciate your patience.

The venue to just about to be confirmed and our logo is in development.

There is so much more to come and we are so excited! But slow and sure wins the race….or puts on a great market….or something like that!
